River World is a free tabletop RPG. It's played with three regular six-sided dice, and is designed to be light on mechanics to make room for storytelling.

This PDF is designed to be printed as a booklet and stapled together. To print it correctly, make sure your printer settings are set to print double-sided and to flip on long edge. The booklet will use 21 sheets of paper. Once it's printed, you can fold it in half and bind it with three staples in the center.

SPECIAL ABILITIES

Chooses one of these four character backgrounds:

The Warrior is good at fighting.
The Thief is good at sneaking around and using creative or underhanded methods to get what they want.
The Merchant makes their living doing a trade. They might be a skilled craftsman or a traveler who spends most of their time in the wilderness.
The Mage can do magic.

Choose one of these two types of warrior:
